Our global fashion apparel client is seeking a talented leader to oversee all ecommerce capabilities ´╗┐for their online business that already generates hundreds of millions of dollars in annual sales. You will report to a top executive in the company, and you'll focus on a customer who is perfect for ongoing global growth. This is a huge online business with tremendous upside, since all growth has been organic so far. The new  ecommerce leader will provide the guidance, expertise, vision, strategy, and oversee investments that will grow the business to $1 billion online (and much more).

You will be responsible for all aspects of the online business and own the full P&L for ecommerce: marketing, operations, strategy, design, mobile, architecture, brand, etc. You will coordinate with global merchandising and marketing teams for content and product, while you craft the right user experience across devices and countries.

Perfect position for a director, senior director, or vice president who leads a large ecommerce business and who is looking to scale a career and scale growth.

 Key Responsibilities
 
  • Lead the global ecommerce team: domestic, international, ecomm IT
  • Build the B2C ecommerce roadmap, including investment strategies, ROI plans, digital marketing initiatives, and differentiated customer experience recommendations
  • Manage all online inbound marketing channels
  • Optimize advertising and promotions
  • Lead the creation and enhancement of content and online events that are highly relevant to the company's global fashion customer
  • Partner with key leaders across the business to ensure flawless planning and execution: merchandising, inventory planning, brand marketing, finance, IT, etc.
  • Develop partner relationships to further drive growth
  • Devleop and mantain the ecommerce 
  • Tell stories that connect with your teams, executives, and the customer
  • Analyze trends, monitor KPIs, provide cross-functional leadership to proactively drive growth
  • P&L management and budgeting
 
 Minimum Requirements
  • Current experience leading a large ecommerce business, including large team direct management in multiple locations
  • Significant experience working within the fashion apparel industry
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years leading global ecommerce and digital/online teams and initiatives
  • Extremely skilled at crafting and communicating a vision
  • Fantastic analytical, project management, and team crafting skills
  • Expertise overseeing third party agencies, partners, and vendors
  • High level of intellectual curiosity
