This role will oversee all marketing activities for a successful and growing B2B company based in Chicago. The firm provides consulting, managed services, technology-enabled process improvements, and a technology suite that simplifies and elevates core capabilities within clients' procurement, supply chain, and finance functions. They're seeking an expert in creating compelling marketing content that supplements the firm's offerings, enhances visibility in industry events, connects 1:1 with customers in direct advertising and search optimization, and ultimately drives total company revenues.
 
Key Activities
 
  • Lead the company to drive sales through innovative, effective, and cost-efficient digital marketing programs and strategies
  • Expertly oversee client acquisition and search strategy (SEM, SEO, affiliation, paid social, display, programmatic), as well as client retention and expansion programs (email campaign, remarketing)
  • Optimize the impact of all marketing spend across each activity/channel type
  • Willing to do the tactical and strategic aspects of the role: you are the leader and often the expert responsible for executing your plans
 
 Ideal Qualifications
 
  • Proven ability to drive sales in a B2B consulting environment through development and execution of marketing strategies
  • Strong communication, content creation, and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years leading marketing activities for a B2B, professional services, or consulting firm
