This role is located at high growth ecommerce retailer Spreetail (www.spreetail.com) on the innovation campus in Lincoln, Nebraska, a vibrant and exciting community of tech companies, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses. 

This role is a senior leader, a general manager over the entire product sourcing function for hundreds of millions of dollars of annual ecommerce purchases. The team and the new vice president must be experts in buying, planning, sourcing, procurement, and supply chain efficiency. There is a heavy focus in this position on strategy and profitability, as you will be responsible for setting and executing against the strategic plan. You'll have broad responsibility to lead and continue to build the team that will continue to increase the number of profitable SKUs offered for sale to consumers through the company's websites. With growth comes opportunity to build the function and develop your own team (more than 20 team members now, on target for 60+ by the end of next year).

This is about managing the entire ecommerce product lifecycle, from identifying new categories, developing strategic vendor relationships, managing a significant P&L, building training and development programs for your team, establishing leadership pipelines, and continually improving the supply chain through cost savings and improved efficiencies.

At least 7+ years of experience large team management, merchandising, vendor management, procurement, private label, and/or direct product sourcing required.
